Why We Built This Site
Minnesota publishes a fair amount of court information, and the difficulty is rarely access. The difficulty is knowing which office holds the piece you need. A warrant touches several records at once. The judge who signs the order sets the charge and the bail terms. Court Administration keeps the file, the hearing date, and the warrant document. The Sheriff's Office receives the order for service and can say whether it reached them, whether anyone was taken into custody, and what a surrender would involve.
Kittson County makes this easy to get wrong in a specific way. The county has one District Court and no city or justice courts, so every ordinance, traffic, and criminal matter ends up in the same courthouse in Hallock. A reader who looks for a city warrant page will not find one, and a reader who finds nothing online may decide there is nothing to check. Neither conclusion is safe. We put the contacts, the search steps, the record fields, and the request rules in one place so a reader can begin with the office that actually holds the answer.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those limits are real:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm that a warrant exists for any person
- We cannot recall, quash, clear, or remove a warrant from any system
- We cannot post bond or take payment toward a warrant
- We cannot schedule a surrender, a hearing, or a walk-in appointment
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to a particular person
- We cannot promise that a phone number, fee, or record detail stays current
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's office that serves it can confirm its status. We can point a reader to the right office, and the answer has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Some pages carry search boxes supplied by outside companies. Those companies run their own services and set their own prices. If a search leads to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, and that revenue keeps this reference free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what appears in its results. A partner's output is not an official warrant check and should never be treated as one.
